We offer complete repairs on centrifugal pumps, such as boiler feed barrel pumps, ring suction pumps, multi-stage horizontal pumps, and vertical turbine pumps, to name a few. Our in-house capabilities and experience allow us to handle even the largest of pump repairs.
All pumps are fully disassembled, cleaned, and inspected (DCI). A complete inspection report, including full dimensional information and digital photographs, is supplied, along with a proposed workscope. "As found" inspection reports are very detailed, sometimes exceeding 60 pages. Various NDT inspections are included, such as dye penetrant, magnetic particle, PMI (positive metal identification), and ultrasound. Various upgrades may be suggested, including new material specifications and/or coatings, to enhance performance and reliability and to address known or identified pump issues.
ISC has engineered, built, and installed a custom 10,000 lb. vertical hydraulic lift pit for disassembly and assembly of various pumps, especially boiler feed pump elements. Using this equipment allows us to take lift, float, and concentricity (runout) readings as we build your pump. These readings are recorded on the "as left" final inspection report supplied with every rebuild.
